Integration >> Rack Supported Buildings

Konstant® has supplied and installed numerous rack supported buildings throughout the United States. A key advantage of a rack supported building is the elimination of building columns within a facility. Some of these facilities have been engineered with ceilings greater than 40 feet.

A typical rack support building is designed with a Drive-in, Push Back, or Automated Systems layout. These facilities are justifiable to our customers because the wind and snow loads only add an incremental amount of additional load to the structure. The additional steel required in the rack structure is far less than the material required to provide a free standing facility.
